Linked below is perhaps the most insightful and nuanced discussion of the situation in the Middle East, Zionism, and Judaism that I have ever heard; a discussion between three Jews. Naomi Klein is, of course, the well-known author of THE SHOCK DOCTRINE and many other works of journalism and history. Daniel Maté is the son of physician Gabor Maté and brother of commentator/journlist Aaron Maté. Matt Lieb is a stand up comedian, writer, and podcaster. The latter two are the hosts of the Bad Hasbara podcast/vlog, billed as “the most moral” podcast on the internet, a description that capsulizes the ironic and sarcastic tone of much of their commentary. THIS discussion differs somewhat from their usual tone. The intro is worth watching, but if you want to jump to the discussion with Ms. Klein, it begins at 14:40.

I fully realize that some readers/supporters of this blog are less interested in the links that I share here, but hope that you will bear with me, listen, and perhaps share them. I promise to get back to some more personal writing and history again soon. But I also know that few people have the inclination and/or skill-set to hunt down some of these sources, and I share them because I believe them valuable.

We are living at a turning point in history; the transition from the unipolar moment to either a multi-polar world … or cataclysm … perhaps both. The choice is ours. Whatever happens will be our responsibility and no one else’s.
